MD were working on a neighbours drive and patio. After seeing them working and seeing the results we decided to get a quote. Mathew came and gave us a good quote for Indian sandstone flags for patio and sets for the drive. Very good office support from start to finish (Gill), the teams working on the job were friendly, hard working and tidy. The work itself was of a high standard. Very pleased with new Driveway and Patio but there were issues. We had a new tarmac driveway wrapped round from the side of the property to the front earlier this year by M D Driveways and are very happy with the final result. Particular thanks go to Josh who did a fantastic job installing the Indian Sandstone rear patio, aco drains and brindle brick edging, plus Carl Lennon who was sub-contracted to install the new wall. The job was finished to an excellent standard, however, we had issues during the process as follows. During the initial dig out of the old drive we became aware that the soil drain pipe was blocked, resulting in us having to contact Welsh Water. We were concerned this could delay the laying of a new drive which we mentioned to Matt, who constantly chased me for answers from Welsh Water, which was stressful. It turned out that the pipe could be repaired without later digging up the new drive. Matt visited the site and advised the drainage would require replacing at extra cost. When he provided the original quote, he stated that would be it, and no further costs added. Also whilst digging out the old drive we noticed the driver driving over the man whole cover, dislodging the brickwork below. Welsh Water had stated that the brickwork required repairing professionally and when I mentioned this to Matt he suggested an additional cost of £500 until I stated that his driver caused it. We had asked the dig out team to be careful with water pipes, Broadband cables and the main electric cabling, particularly the Virgin cable which was almost dislodged on more than one occasion. A short while after completion we noticed the main electrical cable had been dislodged in the consumer unit cupboard. During a physical check, the network provider advised this would have happened during dig out. Luckily they were able to repair the damage, otherwise they would have had to dig up a patch of driveway.

MD Driveways have just completed a major project at our home in Northwich. The scope of work included a complete replacement of all lawned areas, the addition of an irrigation system to counter age old drainage problems, a large porcelain patio area complete with cobble bordered pathways around the property along with a new signature pathway to the front door. We also replaced an existing driveway but took the opportunity to increase the width significantly which has only added to the overall visual impact. Matt and his experienced team were very professional throughout the project with a constant presence over almost four weeks until the work was completed. The preparation work was extraordinary in scale and the logistics control for material removal and replacement was particularly impressive. This attention to detail was applied to deliver everything we had agreed. Overall, we are delighted with the outcome, the finished project is testament to the hard work of the whole team, visually impressive, and exceeds our expectations. We had a new driveway done, as well as our patio and garden pathway in the back garden, and we're really pleased with how everything turned out. Matthew had some great ideas for the back garden that we hadn't even thought about. We decided to go with his suggestions, and he was absolutely right—they've made a big difference to the finished look. We also asked for a few changes once the work was already underway, and Matthew was happy to incorporate them without any fuss. The quality of the work is excellent, and you can tell everyone takes pride in what they do. All of the workmen were friendly, courteous, and worked really hard. There was always someone on site every day, and Matthew kept in touch throughout the project to make sure everything was going smoothly. We're really glad we chose MD Driveways for our project. Matthew and his team at MD Driveways have just completed the transformation of our large driveway and front garden. My wife & I are delighted with it and I'd like to recommend MD Driveways without hesitation or reservation. The price was competitive, the guys were here everyday and worked hard to meet my needs. A particular shout-out to Josh and Luke who were superb! Very polite, hard working and accommodating to my needs. Also a mention for Gill in the office who gave me some reassurance before and during the project as I was a bit anxious about it all. I needn't have worried.
